BioI'm a Texan who was blinded in a 1993 auto accident. Before that happened, I worked for the state prison system for 13 years. I'm now retired and have pursued other interests. I began motivational speaking shortly after getting my first Seeing Eye dog Quarry. At my first paid workshop presentation in 1997, I met the woman I would marry and we now have a darling son. Careerwise, since the accident, I've gone to college and earned three degrees (AAS-Crinimal Justice, BS-Behavioral Science, and MA-Clinical Psychology) and am currently pursuing a career in counseling.
